The Truth About Women

In the spirit of all the fun that gets poked around vis-a-vis male/female relations, I thought I'd cite Myths and Truths, which's a little on the jaded side, but very entertaining in that "been there, done that" kinda way. Even with the broad generalizations (pun intended), my dating life would have been so much happier if I'd have seen this when I was young....

UPDATE: Two women have told me they read this and thought "Yeah, women are just like that! Hey, I'm not like that....!" I'm not saying his statement applies to all women any more than all men like football. But I did marry one of his stereotypes my 1st time around....

Well, damn, if THAT didn'thave more signal-to-noise than anything else I've ever read on the subject...

Regarding your update... lots of women are EXACTLY as he describes -- not that this is necessarily a bad thing...

I KNEW you'd be the one to say that...

American women yes.

The man as status item is universal I think.

Canadian women seem to fit this bill the most accurately. North American women come in second. Regionally women will have a stuck up attitude. Chinese women are picking up a major 'tude, being that the guys are fighting over them. Huge gender imbalance.

Autumn: of course. You can't really adore women unless you understand them... and, as the infamous line goes, if it doesn't have tits and love me, I don't adore it...

Who said that?

Me. In a context much better suited to beer in person.

And you think you really understand women?

Actually, I think I do pretty well on that count. Of course, no man can actually understand women, since they're all vastly more complicated than we are, but I think I manage to have half a clue on a regular basis...

Well, it sure ain't that hard for women to understand men... ;)

Ya know, I'm inclined to say that those who think women are so much more complicated than men understand women the least..

I think women are pretty simple myself. But what do I know.. I'm single and all..

No, it can't be! Women's motivations are mysteries which mere males should not aspire to aspire to understand!
