Why People Don't Use Mass Transit
There's a great article from a few years ago still available on a psuedoscience debunking site called Why People Don't Use Mass Transit. If you need to shut up collectivist nitwits this's a good article to use. The only flaw is that it "Don't" should be replaced with "Will Never".

I'll be on it the day it makes economic sense. And not until then...
Right, hence the need for the title change. I don't think it's an accident that the folks most vociferously condemning people from driving in cars are pot-head slacker barristas, alcoholic waiters and other socialists-of-convenience who think they should be living the Friends(tm) lifestyle while working jobs that require almost no personal responsibility besides showing up. The farther up the curve from "human widget" towards "executive" you go, the less public transit makes sense.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the HPVEs or course.
HPVE? Sell me a vowel, dude.

Oh. Well, sure. They like calling the shots. Cars get in the way of letting small groups of people plan entire cities...
