The fact that this sucker's on *backorder* makes me shudder. We've come a long way, my friend, from James Joyce's Leopold Bloom, who read the newspaper in the outhouse and then used the newspaper as toilet paper...
I think it clearly demonstrates that as a culture we're over-entertained to the point of impending societal collapse, or else that the gag-gift market is alive and well.
But.... Have you ever seen anything quite so... Huxley-ish?
Ditto on those comments. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that it was on backorder. As a student of business, my guess is that either there are way too many people who want this,or they were smart and didn't produce too many; thus creating a situation where the demand outweighs the supply.
Either way...there are too many people who want this thing!! :-)
