Because by implying that minorities (blacks in this case) can be president, that would be implying that they're capable of handling themselves on their own and so don't need the special treatment the left-wing always promises (which would compromise the victimization-based leftist agenda).
Ok then I did get his point.. I just think he made a big jump from that to people voting against Obama b/c of it.. Particular with Hillary's pro-war stance alienating a lot of what the left calls its base..

Forgive me if I'm dense but I was with him right until the end.. How does he liberals voting AGAINST Obama as a show of support of minorities?
