Radio silence will continue to exist for a while until the home office is set up and the new routine is established (this morning's commute: 1 hour 25 minutes, starting at 6:30am so traffic would be light).
But we're here, halfway established, and should approach some state of normalcy as soon as "normal" is defined. :o)

An hour and a half commute? Oh holy hell, that sucks.
Er, welcome back?
Tamara says hi by the way.
Yeah, and that's only one way. There are worse things, though. And there's another re-org going on at work! whoopie!
Hello to Tamara too. I hope there'll be an opportunity to meet her soon.
Man, that's like spending a solid month out of the year driving!
Might be a good time to start picking up books on tape, or a few Pimsleur language courses.
Good luck!
I can't study languages aurally (I learn via grammar & need the pen and paper), but I'll definitely be looking at books on tape.
Maybe there's a Netflix for the commuting set....
Actually, there is if you're going to work by train.
On NPR about a month back they talked about a commuter who had an hour train ride into NY every day. He brought a portable DVD player to kill the time - watching about 1/2 the movie on the way there and the other half on the way back. After awhile it became a movie club as others started watching it with him.
So assuming you have rail nearby you're in luck. If you don't, well, oh well.
Oh, I wish.... I used to take the BART train all the time.... My location means driving. :(
