Wow, you know, being president really ages a person. He looks like each year was equivalent to 2 or three years. & I agree w/ jimdesu - he's an excellent and charismatic speaker, whereas Hillary just isn't. OTOH, McCain puts me to sleep.
I suppose it was a failed strategy for the build up. She eliminated any other democratic fund raiser in the party while on the ethics committee, and now there has been a revolution in the party. There will in fact be a post Clinton period, if they don't get the nomination, and he will simply be Ted Kennedy v2.0.

I personally suspect that it's because she's comparatively maladroit at exactly those kinds of things at which he's brilliant.
