I know that for a red-blooded American male I have an overgrown sense of cute, but this one tops it even for me. It seems that a fox cub was orphaned in Nizhni Novgorod. In order to save its life, they decided to ask one of the local mother cats to foster it, which it did....
... and as an aside, will someone please hurry up and domesticate foxen so I can have my kittendog?

heh, that's exactly what I was going to say! :)
I wants it so you gives it.
Kthnx!
I kinda wonder if that will last. Foxes are not exactly nice to cats in the wild, being a type of cannine.
Oh, definitely won't last: the fox has already been removed to get to know other foxes instead.
Now a tame version, though....
Wild fox lifespans are LOW. One year, on average.
But that might be dramatically increased with domestication, just like they're now getting 50 years out of some horses...
That's 55 years too long for a horse...
(Yes I know he said 50 years, I just hate horses THAT MUCH)
Oh come on Mike, you know you wanna move to the country and buy a big yard so you can have some horses running around.... :)!
